Purvi obtained her post-professional master's in physical therapy from New York University, NY, with a concentration in pathophysiology. She has been providing physical therapy around the globe since 1997 in various outpatient adult and pediatric facilities. 

She has been successfully managing and running the physical therapy outpatient clinic Healing Joints Physical Therapy, in Edison, New Jersey since 2008. Purvi proudly managed the clinic expansions into Parsippany, NJ, and other areas.

With her wide range of experience and highly honed set of skills, Ms. Pithwa has been helping her patients to successfully transit from pain into a state of well-being or from disability into long-term recovery.

Purvi works closely with many surgeons and general MDs to provide follow-up for their patients. She supports the most up-to-date and proven manual therapy techniques like McKenzie or Mulligan techniques and keeps up with current post-operative protocols.  Purvi is highly proficient with K-taping, a holistic, drug-free therapy method that has exceptional results for sports injury patients.
